Use Case Studies to Sell More Services

In Jeff Korhan’s recent excellent podcast from his Landscape Digital Show — which discusses actionable items for a landscape business — he talks about a universal problem many companies have: selling takes your time away from marketing.


“You may have the most talented salespeople in your community but without tools they will have to invest more time than necessary to communicate with perspective customers. The key is to create marketing resources.” And case studies should be part of those resources. When it comes to case studies, Korhan said that businesses should take the time to break them down into teaching moments for their staff and prospective customers. Amen, Jeff! 

He goes on to say that he bets that most companies in business 10 years or longer can’t produce 10 case studies supported with data and visuals that can be used to help people envision a relationship with your business. The podcast is definitely worth a listen, no matter your industry!
